LBCC set to host 10th Annual Battle at the Beach women's water polo tournament

Seven of the state's top 10 team will be in action

The 10^th annual truWest Battle at the Beach women’s water polo tournament is set to begin on Friday (Oct 19) at Long Beach City College and Cypress College.

The two-day event features an expanded 18-team field this year. Seven of those teams are currently ranked among the state’s top 10.

Admission is free, although normal parking restrictions will be enforced.

Last year, Riverside went 4-0 and downed Long Beach 10-6 in the final to win the team championship.

Scores will be posted following each day’s action.
